Distinguished Service Award recipient honored, new board treasurer appointed, and two new trustees welcomed

We are pleased to announce the Education Foundation’s 2026–2027 Board of Trustees, effective July 1, 2026. As we begin a new year of service and leadership, we are also recognizing outstanding contributions from longtime volunteers and welcoming new voices to help advance our mission.

Celebrating 25 Years of Service: Elaine Ervin

After 25 years of exceptional leadership and dedication, Elaine Ervin is retiring from the Education Foundation Board of Trustees. Throughout her tenure, Ervin has served in numerous capacities, including board treasurer and past president, leaving a lasting impact on the Foundation and the construction industry.

A retired Business Assurance Partner at Moss Adams LLP, CPA, and National Practice Leader for the Construction Industry, Ervin has generously contributed her expertise as a subject-matter expert for continuing education programs, supported the Foundation’s Annual Fund, and established the Ervin Family Endowment. She has also been an active member of AGC of Washington and a key supporter of countless Foundation events.

In recognition of her extraordinary service, Ervin has been named the Foundation’s 2026 Distinguished Service Award. Additional details about this honor will be shared soon.

Aaron Faulk Named Board Treasurer

Succeeding Ervin as board treasurer is Aaron Faulk, CPA, Principal at Baker Tilly. Faulk has served on the Foundation’s Executive Committee since 2024 and brings nearly three decades of experience in construction accounting and financial leadership.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly following its 2025 merger with Moss Adams LLP, Faulk spent 29 years with Moss Adams, where he served as Construction National Practice Leader. A graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he also serves on several industry boards, including the national education steering committee for the Construction Financial Management Association.

Welcoming New Trustees

The Foundation is also pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Trustees.

Jenni Cox, Chief Financial Officer, JTM Construction

Jenni Cox graduated from Western Washington University and began her career in commercial banking while attending college. She joined JTM Construction in 2010 and has played a key role in the company’s continued success. Cox is a passionate advocate for the construction industry and is actively involved with numerous industry and community service organizations throughout the greater Seattle area.

Andrew Bry, Project Executive, Abbott Construction

Andrew Bry has been with Abbott Construction for 16 years and currently leads operations for the company’s tenant improvement and renovations group. He holds degrees in Business Administration and Construction Management from the University of Washington.

Bry has long supported the Foundation through his service on the Scholarship Selection Committee and currently serves as Chair of AGC of Washington’s Government Affairs Committee. In addition to overseeing projects, he is actively involved in recruiting, staff development, and company-wide initiatives at Abbott Construction.
