The AGC Education Foundation proudly sponsored Central Washington University’s AGC Student Chapter fundraiser on February 24th at the Iron Horse Brewery in Ellensburg, WA. The chapter raised $450, which helped fund travel expenses for Seattle jobsite tours.
“Overall, we raised enough cushion so our Seattle site walk wasn’t a stretch and we can put our other plans for the spring in motion,” said Kindra Scobba, student chapter president and AGC Education Foundation scholarship recipient.
On the last Tuesday of each month, Iron Horse hosts Pint Nights, where student clubs and non-profit organizations are able to raise money for specific causes. For each pint sold, .50 cents goes toward the club or organization.
“I can’t thank you guys enough for your support and generosity towards our CWU AGC Student Chapter,” Scobba said. “Pint Night was a huge success and I have received a lot of kudos for the event.”
